4. Step-by-Step MSME Registration Process –

1. Go to the official Udyam Registration website. This portal is managed by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises

2. For Proprietorships: Aadhaar number of the business owner is required

3. For Partnerships & Companies: Aadhaar of the managing partner or director is needed

4. Click on "Validate & Generate OTP" and enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number

5. Fill business name and type, location and address of the business, date of commencement of operations, and NIC Code (National Industrial Classification Code) of your business activity

6. Mention your business's total investment in plant & machinery or equipment

7. Enter the annual turnover of the enterprise

8.  Ensure these details match your financial records and GST filings

9. Carefully review all the entered details

10.  Click on the "Submit & Get Final OTP" button

11.  Enter the OTP received on your mobile and submit the form

12.  After submission, your MSME registration will be processed

13.  You will receive a Udyam Registration Number (URN) and a digital certificate via email

14.  The certificate is permanent and does not require renewal. This certificate has a dynamic QR Code from which the web page on our Portal and details about the enterprise can be accessed

16.  No enterprise shall file more than one Udyam Registration
